Privacy policy
Jobluvo is operated by Employic L.L.C F.Z. This page says what Jobluvo collects about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to privacy@jobluvo.com.
What Jobluvo collects
When you create an account, your name and your email address. Jobluvo signs you in by sending a 6 digit code to that address. The code is kept only as a hash and stops working after 10 minutes.
When you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, your email address, your language preference and your profile picture. Jobluvo keeps the name and the email address and nothing else; the picture is not stored. Jobluvo asks Google for nothing else.
When you upload a resume, the file and its text. Jobluvo reads facts from it, shows them to you, and keeps only what you confirm. Nothing is added that is not on your profile.
As you use the product, the jobs you are shown, save, skip or apply to, the resumes tailored for you, and what Jobluvo found when checking them.
To keep the sign in from being abused, the address of the connection that asked for a code and the email address it was sent to, counted for one day.
In your browser, two cookies that keep you signed in, a third that only tells the site you are signed in, one that remembers your choice about ads, and in some countries one that holds a random id and the link you arrived by, for 30 days, to measure where visitors come from. Where you allow it, Meta and TikTok set their own cookies to measure Jobluvo's ads.
If you sign in with Google
What Jobluvo receives: your name, your email address, your language preference and the address of your profile picture, through Google sign in and nothing else. Jobluvo does not read your Gmail, your contacts, your calendar or any other Google service.
What it is used for: to create your Jobluvo account or sign you into it, and to show your name in the product. Nothing else.
How it is stored: your name and email address are kept in your account record. The picture and the language preference are not stored. The name and email stay as long as your account does and are deleted with it.
Who it is shared with: nobody. Jobluvo does not sell it, does not use it for advertising, and does not pass it to any other service. Jobluvo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How to take it back: remove Jobluvo from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and ask for your Jobluvo account to be deleted on the delete account page.
What Jobluvo uses it for
To sign you in and keep you signed in for 30 days, longer if you keep using it. To find jobs that fit the facts you confirmed. To tailor a resume to a job, which changes how something is said and never what is claimed. To show you what happened with each application. To stop automated requests from sending codes from our domain.
Jobluvo measures how the site and the product are used, to see which pages and steps work and where people stop. It also records how fast each page loads in your browser, by the page's name, not its address. It records what was done, such as a page opened or an application approved, against a random id or your account's id. It does not record your name, email, resume, answers or the jobs' titles, and it does not keep your IP address. Jobluvo does not sell your information.
Jobluvo advertises on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. To measure those ads, it tells TikTok and Meta when someone who came from an ad signs up, starts or makes a first payment, or sends a first application. It sends the click id from the ad, a scrambled (hashed) form of your account id and, if you signed up with your email address, of your email, and for Meta your browser's user agent. If you sign in with Google, the email Google gives Jobluvo is never sent to them, in any form. It never sends your name, phone, resume or the jobs you apply to. Outside the United States this happens only if you accept in the banner. In the United States you can stop it on " Your privacy choices", through the link at the foot of every page, and a browser that sends Global Privacy Control stops it on its own. Wherever you are, you can change your choice there at any time. Once sent, TikTok and Meta keep what they received under their own policies; deleting your Jobluvo account stops anything more being sent.
Nothing is submitted to an employer without your action or your standing instruction.
Who else handles it
Jobluvo runs on services that process data on our behalf.
| Service | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site | United States |
| Neon | Stores the database | United States |
| Resend | Sends the sign in codes and the emails you choose to get, and receives the mail employers send to your Jobluvo address | United States |
| OpenAI | Receives resume text, your confirmed facts and job descriptions to read facts, rank and score fit, and tailor resumes | United States |
| Fly.io | Runs the browser that fills in an employer's application form with your profile and resume, when you approve an application | United States |
| Logo.dev | Serves company logos, so your browser fetches them from there | United States |
| Signs you in, when you choose to sign in with Google | United States | |
| PostHog | Counts how the site and the product are used | United States |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Measures Jobluvo's ads | United States |

Your information is stored and processed in the United States. When you approve an application, Jobluvo sends your tailored resume and answers to that employer through its application system, which receives it under the employer's own terms, including any checks that system runs on the browser. Otherwise Jobluvo does not give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Your account and what is in it, until you delete it. A sign in session, 30 days from your last use. A sign in code, 10 minutes. The counts used for the send limit, one day.
What you can ask
You can ask to see what Jobluvo holds about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to limit what is done with it, or to receive a copy. Write to privacy@jobluvo.com and we answer within 30 days. You can also delete your account yourself in Settings, under Privacy: it is deleted from Jobluvo at once, and the database's backups keep a copy for up to 7 days more. Copies already with the services above, such as mail held by Resend or an application already sent to an employer, are kept under their own terms. If you cannot sign in, deletion is done by hand on request and confirmed to you by email; how to ask is on the delete account page.
Who it is for
Jobluvo is for people of 18 and over who are looking for work. Do not use it if you are under 18.
